Historic 'Star Indians' find new home inside museum

The carved wooden Indians that for years in the mid 1970s found a home outside the Star Broiler in downtown Winnemucca have come in from the cold. Stored for years outside on the Humboldt Museum grounds, the statues have now found a home indoors, and the hope is that they will eventually be restored.
