WINNEMUCCA - Humboldt General Hospital's Walk-In Clinic will close on Christmas Eve, Saturday, Dec. 24.
However, the walk-in healthcare facility located at 118 E. Haskell St. in Humboldt General Hospital's new medical office will be open on New Year's Eve, Saturday, Dec. 31, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
All ages are welcome for minor ailments such as cough/colds, flu, sore throat, ear infection, allergies, rashes, urinary tract infections and more.
Those experiencing chest pains or true emergencies should go immediately to the Humboldt General Hospital Emergency Department, also located at 118 E. Haskell St.
The clinic's regular hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
To reach the new clinic, please park in the hospital's main patient parking lot, which can be accessed from Mizpah or Harmony streets.
If you enter the building through the main entrance facing the ambulance station, take the elevator or the stairs down to the main floor. You also may enter the building through the side entrance facing City Park by descending the ramp.
Once on the main floor, The Walk-In Clinic is located in Suite C.
The clinic is staffed by Dr. Karen Wright, a board certified family practice physician, as well as Sandra Deveny, APN-C, Lisa Jonkey, FNP-BC, and Ladonna Reyka, FNP-C.
