Herman Dennler

Herman Dennler was born on Dec. 3, 1917, and entered into eternal life on May 29, 2012, at the age of 94.

He was a beloved husband and father, whose family was his utmost priority in life. Herman's love and devotion to his family were always evident to everyone who met him. He enjoyed meeting people whom he encountered during his life's adventures; he never met a stranger.

He was a man of many facets. He pursued his lifelong passion for farming - from farming with horses to utilizing modern-day agricultural practices. He was a problem solver and always had innovative ideas for overcoming obstacles he encountered, such as designing his own equipment and offering engineering advice to equipment manufacturers. He also had an incredible appreciation for God's creation, the beauty of nature and the universe.

Herman is survived by his loving wife, Judy; sons Herman Jr. (Cara) Dennler and Richard (Laura) Dennler; daughters Margo (Glen) Ogden and Deanna (Rob) Riley; eleven wonderful grandchildren; sister Emma Harder; brother Tom Dennler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, four brothers, and one sister.

Abiding with his wishes, a graveside service was held on June 4, 2012, at the family cemetery in Idaho, which overlooks the homestead where he was born and raised.
