Hearing addresses camping fees

CARSON CITY - The Nevada Division of State Parks will hold a public hearing March 31 concerning group camping and other fees.

The meeting will be at the Richard Bryan Building, 901 S. Stewart St., Carson City from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive comments from all interested persons regarding the amendment of regulations relating to group camping fees and entrance fees for photographers with commercial photography permits. There will be no fee increases associated with these amendments.

Persons wishing to comment may appear at the hearing or provide comments, data, views or concerns in written form to Division of State Parks, 901 S. Stewart St., Suite 5005, Carson City, 89701-5248.

Written submissions must be received by March 31. If no person directly affected by the proposed action appears at the hearing to make an oral presentation, the Division of State Parks may act upon any written submissions.

A copy of the materials relating to the proposal may be obtained at the public hearing or by contacting the State Parks Division Office at (775) 684-2793.
