LOVELOCK - The Pershing County rifle range will be closed Saturday, May 18, for a work day.
Pershing County Chukars Unlimited will repair all the target stands and also will be adding a 500-yard target.
The rifle range has some normal wearing out of the targets, officials said, but vandalism is a continuing problem. PCCU is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone vandalizing the facility.
The cleanup starts at 7 a.m. and PCCU will provide snacks and dinner upon completion of work. Anyone wishing to help should contact Dan Hill at 335-5503 so the club can get a headcount for food and drinks. Everyone is welcome.[[In-content Ad]]
