CARSON CITY - Grant opportunities for fiscal year 2015 through three Nevada Arts Council grant programs for nonprofit arts and non-arts organizations, public institutions and government entities will be available online at nac.culturegrants.org beginning Jan. 3.
The Arts Council 's annual Partners in Excellence, Project, and Arts Learning Project grant categories support a breadth of programs and activities that expand public access to and participation in the arts and arts education. Information and grant guidelines will also be posted online. All applications must be submitted through the Grants Online system. Applications for all three grant categories are due by 5 p.m. on March 12, 2014.
Those who did not receive Nevada Arts Council grants in FY2014 because of eligibility or scoring issues, must complete an advance review, due 5 p.m. Feb. 6.
The advance review allows applicants to have their proposals checked for eligibility and completeness before the final deadline to help them make adjustments or corrections before submitting the final application.

The Nevada Arts Council, a division of the Nevada Department of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, is the agency charged with ensuring that state and national funds support cultural activity and encourage participation in the arts throughout Nevada.
