DENIO - Graduation ceremonies were held on May 24 at Denio Elementary School for Andrea Egger and Lane Johnson.
An awards ceremony honoring the entire student body was also held prior to graduation. Many awards were given, including honor roll, student of the month and physical fitness awards.
The Student of the Year award was given to Estefani Barocio for her hard work, as well as her help in the classroom. Reader of the Year was awarded to MattieRose Johnson for striving to be a great reader.
Graduation ceremonies followed the awards, which included slideshows for each graduate, and a speech by each graduate. The evening was capped off by celebrating with music and dancing.
