Editor:
Your readers might be interested to know that the Pershing General Hospital received outstanding constituent service from Gov. Sandoval's office.
Some Medicaid monies that the hospital had coming were withheld in error, and the hospital was in danger of experiencing some financial hardship. As soon as Gov. Sandoval found out about the situation - some of the hospital trustees mentioned it to him when we met him at Pershing County's Lincoln Day Breakfast earlier this year - he immediately took steps to remedy the problem, assigning a member of his personal staff to deal with it. The problem was promptly resolved.
The speed and efficiency with which this matter was handled was truly impressive, and it is clear to me that this outcome is an indication of the ability and spirit of the governor and his staff.
Sincerely,
Charles M. Safford
Pershing General Hospital Trustee
