LOVELOCK - It's almost here. Lovelock's annual Lincoln Day Breakfast is scheduled for Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. at Sturgeon's Center Club.
Nevada Congressman Mark Amodei will be the keynote speaker at the breakfast. Sen. Dean Heller will also be in attendance.
"I am checking with Gov. Sandoval and Lt. Gov. Brian Krolicki's offices to see if they will be attending. Hopefully, our state Sen. Don Gustafson will be in attendance as well as state Assemblyman Ira Hansen," Pershing County Republican Party Chair Carol Shank said.
The event serves as a fundraiser for the Nevada Republican Party. A complete breakfast buffet will be served. There will also be a raffle and auction with auctioneer Darin Bloyed. The cost to attend is $20 per person.
Shank asked that those who are planning on attending to RSVP her at 273-0604.
"It will help with knowing how many to expect for the breakfast buffet," she said.
Shank is also looking for donations for the raffle and auction, as well as volunteers to help collect for the breakfast and sell raffle tickets.
