BATTLE MOUNTAIN - The Battle Mountain Arts Presenters will present Safe Haven, RadioDriveBy, and Going Co-Pilot at the Battle Mountain Civic Center on March 16 at 7 p.m.

"It is a great time to bring them back because they just released a new album this year and are getting ready to embark on a world tour," said Ami Rogers, president of the Battle Mountain Arts Presenters. "We are excited to announce that Safe Haven will be joined by two other bands, RadioDriveBy and Going Co-Pilot who have also had some great successes this year. We are hoping to pack the Civic Center."

Tickets are on sale at the door beginning at 6:30 p.m. and cost $10 for adult, $20 per family and $5 for students and seniors.

Safe Haven is an American alternative rock-punk band from Southern California. The group consists of three brothers, Gil Sandoval (vocals/bass), Dan Sandoval (drums), Mani Sandoval (lead guitar) and childhood friend Josh Ledezma (guitar).

Early influences of acts such as Third Eye Blind, The Ataris, Jimmy Eat World, and Mxpx inspire the band's songs of teenage angst and hope driven lyrics. Highly noted as a terrific live act amongst many Christian and non-Christian bands they do not perform solely to one market.

When the band visited Battle Mountain in October 2012 they hosted a youth leadership workshop attended by 30 local youth and youth leaders.

The workshop was complete with an "MTV Unplugged" style performance and a round table focusing on volunteerism, community service and using personal talents to do some good in the world; areas that Safe Haven knows a lot about.

A percentage of the group's album sales fund an orphanage in Guatemala that they have supported for the past five years. To get more information about the band's humanitarian efforts or to check out sample tracks of their music, visit www.safehavenrocks.com.

RadioDriveBy is a five piece alternative rock band with a touch of pop punk from Phoenix, Ariz. Made up of Trent Clark (vocals), Adam Simons (guitar, vocals), Austin Gavin (drums), David Glosser (guitar) and Evan Yuen (bass), they began in the fall of 2009.

Since forming, the band has shared the stage with Forever the Sickest Kids, Family Force 5, Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, He Is We, and This Century. For music links, tour info and merchandise visit www.RadioDriveBy.net.

Going Co-Pilot, made up of Caleb Keener (guitar/vocals), Aaron Harris (vocals/bass), Isaac Block (guitar) and Zach Keener (drums), from Kingman, Ariz., will also be taking the stage.

Going Co-Pilot is an extremely talented group of young singer/songwriters with an alternative edge influenced by Reliant K, Rise Against and Anberlin. You can check them out at www.reverbnation.com/goingcopilot.
