WINNEMUCCA - The Winnemucca City Council will hold its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m. at City Hall, 90 W. Fourth St.
The meeting begins with the call to order, Pledge of Allegiance, correction and possible approval of the Jan. 24 regular meeting minutes and the review and possible approval of warrants.
The meeting continues with a proclamation declaring February 2012 "National Teen Dating Violence Awareness & Prevention Month."
Public and personal communication and correspondence follows.
Agenda items include variance VW-12-02. This would reduce a front yard setback from 20 feet to 10 feet/M-1 (Industrial) zoning district/East Second Street between Reinhart and East Winnemucca Boulevard/APNs 015-225-015 and 015-225-016/Desert Mountain Surveying-Sheppard.
Additional items include terms and conditions of agreement for golf professional services and a request for diagonal parking at Hanson Street between West Winnemucca Boulevard and West Second Street.
The council will also hear a request for funding from Sonoma Industries and a proposal for a teen, youth and family community center.
