LOVELOCK - The 4-H Goat members were very active exhibiting their goats as part of the Pershing County Jr. Livestock Show on Sunday, May 13.

The goat breeding class had seven entries. Breeding animals are not sold at the sale as market animals are.

Breeding Champion jacket to Jake Cerini, sponsored by Southern Transport & Temptations.

Reserve Champion sports bag to Kati Rae Cerini, sponsored in Memory of Martin Gandiaga.

Best Home Grown Goat sports bag to Jake Cerini, sponsored by Wesner Ranch.

Showmanship Rosettes sponsored by the Childs Family to Intermediate Jake Cerini and Junior Cassidy Burke. Best Goat Showmanship belt buckle to Jake Cerini, sponsored by the D Bar S Ranch.

Best Goat Showmanship belt buckle (7 & 8 year olds) to Devin Moura sponsored by Diamond J Trucking. Also winning blue rosettes sponsored by the Childs Family were: Presley Burrows and Josie Crim.

Best Goat Showman belt buckle (under 7 years old) to Kyra Jo Cerini, sponsored by Flyer's Energy. Winning rosettes were: Jacob Burke, Blake Burrows, Reagan Burrows Tia Montes, Hanna Montes and Rylee Renfroe.

The Cerini family continued their participation in the goat project, along with Jake raising beef and Kati Rae raising pigs. The Castro-Montes family and the Katsaris family were new members to the group.

Members also dressed up with their goats as part of the Best Dressed Contest, which was judged by Karen Stephens.
