The Commission spent $60K for a study on how to fix the dispatch center. Seems like a lot of taxpayer money to me for, according to the paper, what we got. I suggest it makes sense to let the new sheriff "fix" whatever is wrong. Give him a mutually agreed upon timeline to get it done. My view is that he has the background and experience to accomplish whatever is necessary. Personally, I don't see the need to set up a new, taxpayer funded, County Bureaucracy, to run the Dispatch Center. Common sense says give the man a chance.
