Residents are being asked to "donate" their hearts to hospice through Feb. 14.
The Frugal Flamingo Thrift Store is selling paper "Hearts for Hospice" for $1.
Participants are invited to write their name on their purchased heart; the hearts will be displayed at the Frugal Flamingo with all proceeds going to help fund the Humboldt Volunteer Hospice.
