Mom Sandra Sherve, back right, and her son, Richard Bochman, 12, back left, and daughter, Sonja Sherve, had plenty of fun in the snow that fell the evening of Dec. 12 and in the early morning hours of Dec. 13. The family made two snowmen and three snow forts in order to have a huge snowball fight at their Scott Street residence. According to the National Weather Service, five inches of snow fell in the Battle Mountain area by 7 a.m. on Dec. 13.
