In trying to "be fair" to myself as well as the Humboldt River Ranch Association and Mr. Azzarello, I would like to be fully quoted and in context. Please refer to the article written by Debra Reid on the cover of The Lovelock Review-Miner "Humboldt River Ranch property debate continues" continuing on page 18, paragraph 27.
Responding to Mr. Azzarello's request to the Board of Commissioners to review current pictures of his plant and other properties. I raised my hand to add testimony to the state of the cement plant prior to the pictures being taken and stated, "When my fiancé and I first came to Nevada we were planning on using Azzarello Concrete to pour our foundation, however as we viewed the plant from Route 80 we thought it had gone out of business. The windows were boarded up with unpainted boards and the equipment was visibly rusted. We both thought it should be torn down and hauled away."
Debra Reid quoted only the second half of my statement, "I'm a new homeowner. He (Azzarello) made the plant look like a viable company," Hanson said of the concrete plant. "I am trying to be fair - a feud is not a good thing for anybody."
A correction would be appreciated. Thank you for your time and concern in this matter.
Lynn Hanson
