WINNEMUCCA - The "Frugal Flamingo" will be closed for the Memorial Day weekend.
The thrift shop, located at 720 E. Fourth St., will be closed from Saturday, May 25, through Monday, May 27, so that volunteers can spend the weekend with their families.
The store will reopen for business at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 28.
The Frugal Flamingo's normal hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Donations are gladly accepted during the store's regular hours of operation.
Humboldt Volunteer Hospice Executive Director Sherry Smith thanked the community for their continuing support of both the Frugal Flamingo and Hospice.
"We couldn't do it without our generous and caring community," she said.
