WINNEMUCCA - The Frugal Flamingo will be closed this Thursday, Oct. 18.
The thrift shop, located at 720 E. Fourth Street, will use the day to take care of routine maintenance.
Humboldt Volunteer Hospice Executive Director Sherry Smith said the store will reopen for business at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19.
All proceeds from the Frugal Flamingo Thrift Shop help support individuals in the Humboldt County community who are suffering from a chronic, debilitating or terminal illness. All hospice care is provided at no cost to patients. Families do not need a doctor's referral in order to access hospice services.
The Frugal Flamingo Thrift Shop is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Donations are gladly accepted during the store's hours of operation.
