The Frugal Flamingo has announced its hours for the upcoming holidays.
The thrift store, located at 720 E. Fourth Street, will be closed Tuesday, Dec. 24, through Monday, Dec. 29, so that volunteers can spend Christmas with their families.
The store will reopen for business from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30.
The store will also be closed Wednesday, Dec. 31, and Thursday, Jan. 1, for the New Year's holiday. The store will reopen for business at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2015.
The Frugal Flamingo's normal hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Donations are gladly accepted during the store's regular hours of operation.

All proceeds from the Frugal Flamingo help support individuals in the Humboldt County community who are suffering from a chronic, debilitating or terminal illness. All hospice care is provided at no cost to patients. Families do not need a doctor's referral in order to access hospice services.
