WINNEMUCCA -The "Frugal Flamingo" will flip from warm to cold later this month.
The thrift shop, located at 720 E. Fourth St., will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 22, so that volunteers can spend transitioning the store for the "Fallidays."
The store will reopen for business at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, with cold-weather clothing and gear in stock along with the store's entire holiday line, just in time to celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
The Frugal Flamingo's normal hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Donations are gladly accepted during the store's regular hours of operation.
All proceeds from the Frugal Flamingo Thrift Shop help support individuals in the Humboldt County community who are suffering from a chronic, debilitating or terminal illness.
