LOVELOCK - The Friends of the Library's Christmas Craft Fair was held Dec. 3. The annual fundraiser is in its 33rd year. Funds raised from the event go to needs at the Pershing County Library.
"The main thing is to provide funds for the library's children programs and it provides a service for the community," said Friends member Carolyn Hultgren.
Hultgren estimated that the group would make around $900 after their expenses. The group raises money from vendor booths and book sales at the fair.
This year's event hosted 25 booths where Christmas shoppers could buy locally handmade gifts without leaving town. All but two are local businesses and crafters.
