On July 5 - 6, the Dimock family hosted an amateur badminton tournament in their backyard in memory of Joshua Rose. Liam Sparks took home the golden badminton racket for winning the singles tournament, and Auri Criddle and Steven Cholico had their victory in the doubles tournament. The tournament raised over $200 for the Rose family.
This tournament is only one of three Joshua Rose memorial events, the other two being the golf tournament and the benefit walk. The Joshua Rose benefit walk will be held at Albert M. Lowry High School on July 11 at 5:30 p.m. For $20 attendees can participate in the walk and receive a t-shirt. All proceeds will go to the Rose family in support of the Joshua Rose Memorial Scholarship.[[In-content Ad]]
