Frank T. Tinney, born Sept. 19, 1935, in Golden, N.M., passed away Feb. 6, 2013, in Reno, Nev., after a valiant fight with cancer over the past four years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lola; father, Frank; brother, Jack and sister, Josephine. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Delphine; Sister Delores, Effie (Ralph) and Nellie; three daughters, Cindy (Pat), Jeannie (Bill), and Sonya grandchildren, Krystal, Jared and Kendra; two great grandsons, Ernie and Kellon; brother-in-law Richard (Susan) and sister-in-law, Jerri; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Frank served in the U.S Air. Force for five years, and then owned a Bait and Tackle Shop in T or C, N. M. In his later years, he was employed by Newmont Gold. Frank was a wonderful dancer who loved country and western music.
Frank was also an avid fisherman, spending many hours at Rye Patch and Onion with his dear friend, Jack and his loyal grand dog, Rusty. Frank's radiant smile and genuine caring personality will be treasured by all and carried forever in our hearts.

Rosary to be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church, Winnemucca, on Saturday, Feb. 16, with mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at the Paradise Valley Cemetery. Immediately after, lunch will be served at the Paradise Valley Community Hall.
