ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. - Dodge City Community College softball right-hander Jordan Mecham (4-2) garnered her first Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Pitcher of the Week honor of the 2015 season this week after going 1-0 in the circle against Frank Phillips College.
The sophomore from Winnemucca and a 2013 Lowry High School graduate, earned another win in the circle against Frank Phillips after fanning seven and allowing only one unearned run in four hits for a 4-1 complete game victory.
She also struck out one to close down the second game against Frank Phillips, making it eight total strikeouts on the day for the Conquistadors.
Mecham is in her second year with Dodge Community College.[[In-content Ad]]
