SPARKS - The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest is soliciting quotes for vehicles with drivers for fire suppression. The types of vehicles are sport utility vehicles, pickup trucks, stakesides and passenger vans for use during local, regional, and nationwide fire suppression and all-hazard incidents. Individuals will have to have all required driving and registration documentation within the state of residence.
The contractor is responsible for all equipment, materials, supplies, transportation, lodging, trained/certified personnel, and supervision and management of those personnel, necessary to meet or exceed the agreement specifications.
The agreements will be competitively awarded within the Southwest Idaho-Nevada Acquisition Zone to the following Interagency Dispatch Centers: Payette National Forest Dispatch Center; South Central Idaho Interagency Dispatch Center; Central Nevada Interagency Dispatch Center; Ely Interagency Communication Center; Elko Interagency Dispatch Center; Las Vegas Interagency Communications Center and Sierra Front Interagency Dispatch Center.
The solicitation will be issued using the Virtual Incident Procurement (VIPR) system; to use VIPR you must have access to a computer with internet capabilities.
