A portion of Bridge Street will be closed for four days while work is done on the railroad crossing.
On Monday, Sept. 29, the Union Pacific Railroad will begin work on the railroad crossing at Bridge Street at 9 a.m. The work will continue through Thursday, Oct. 2.
Bridge Street, from Haskell Street to Railroad Street, will be closed during this time to allow the completion of the work.
City representatives said they apologized for the resulting unavoidable inconvenience.
Fog seal schedule
Fog sealing typically follows chip-sealing and prolongs the life of the road. It is an emulsified, light asphalt sprayed in a fine mist over the chip seal and helps to prevent loose chips. It is recommended for motorist to not drive on roads recently fog sealed for half an hour to an hour after application. The city's tentative fog seal schedule is listed below.
