BATTLE MOUNTAIN - There are still free flu vaccines available at the community health nurse office on walk-in basis. There are 20 adult doses and 10 child doses.

The health nurse office has given about 1,200 doses in the community this season. Over half were given free of charge.

There were 588 doses given during the POD (Point of Dispense) exercise and 200 donated from Battle Mountain General Hospital.
