Floyd Chacon Sr.

On Jan. 24, our beloved father, husband, grandpa, friend Floyd Chacon Sr. passed away peacefully with his family by his side.

Floyd lost his battle with cancer, and complications from diabetes, but won the fight of eternal life. Floyd was born in Taos, N.M. on Oct. 7 1945. He is survived by the love of his life Hortencia Chacon "Tencha." His children: Monica Price (Mike), Erica Rockwell (Shane), Floyd Chacon Jr. (Cassandra), David Chacon (Lisa), Daniel Chacon. Grandchildren: Desirae and Danae Chacon, Braden Powrie, Macy and Ethan Rockwell, Preston, Beau, Rocco, Milania, and Gianno Chacon, and Eric Khan. His brothers: Ken and Pancho Chacon (Delores)/ (Giomi). As well as numerous loving family members in New Mexico, Wyoming, California, Utah, and Colorado that continuously reciprocated the fun, laughter, and love he gave.

Floyd befriended people everywhere he went, so the family would like to invite all those who knew this wonderful man to celebrate his life on Friday, Jan. 31 at 11 a.m. Calvary Baptist church located at 577 Walnut Street in Elko, Nev. Burial and memorial luncheon to follow.
