The world was blessed with her birth on July 5, 1921, in Farmington, Utah, born to parents, William and Lina Barkdull. On Oct. 23, 2013, her spirit departed this earth while in the loving arms of her daughter and caregiver, Linda Sauer, and into the awaiting arms of our Lord, her family and friends. She was 92 and the last of her immediate family.
The life she lived was a testimony to her heritage. Married 60 years to Robert E. Hepworth and mother to five children, her life was filled with love, laughter and challenges.
She could not stand to see a child cry and often joined in to help sooth the suffering.
Always the one to nurture, the one with the quiet but steady hand on the tiller, she was the epitome of a great Mother and wonderful human being.
She is survived by four of her children - Kathy Rogers (Hal) of Wendell, Idaho, Peggy Muir (Paul) of Ruby, Mich., Linda Sauer (John) of Toppenish, Wash., and Jerry Hepworth (Kris) of Yuma, Ariz., as well as her son-in-law, Jack Bullock (Robyn) of Winnemucca and many grandchildren and their offspring.
Those of her family that have preceded her include her parents and seven siblings, her husband, Robert, and two daughters and grandson - Donna Rae (infant), Robyn Bullock and Chuck Wayson.
She was the love that bound us together and to all that is good in us. While she is gone, she lives on in those that love her.
At her request no formal services will be held and the family will conduct a private service at a later date.[[In-content Ad]]
