What a difference fifteen or so years made! Greta Wells on the left, and Ellen Wells on the right are justly proud of all those trout they hold between them. And they are much more comfortable! These young ladies are no longer hobbled by long skirts or made to wear multiple petticoats. In the summer heat I'm sure they didn't miss all of that! And they were much safer. If they tripped or fell their clothing was not the cause.
Dressed as they are, they'd fit in to a modern day fishing trip to Wild Bills. Though judging by their catch, the fishing was better then than it is now. There are a couple of really large trout on that stringer!
