Three engines from the Winnemucca Volunteer Fire Department were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1100 block of Cinnabar Street in the Winnemucca Indian Colony at 1:40 p.m. on Wednesday. Chief Alan Olsen of the WFD said crews arrived at 1:45 p.m. and found a small camper engulfed behind the residence. The fire was extinguished and the cause is pending investigation. There were no injuries reported, and other than the trailer, no further damage was reported. Winnemucca police also responded to assist the Bureau of Indian Affairs in its investigation. Representatives of the Bureau of Indian Affairs had no comment.[[In-content Ad]]
