FINAL FOUR COUNTDOWN: Michigan State

FINAL FOUR COUNTDOWN: Michigan State

MICHIGAN STATE SPARTANS

2014-15 Record: 27-11, 12-6 Big Ten Head Coach: Tom Izzo (seventh Final Four)

Projected Starters: G - Travis Trice (15.3 ppg, 5.1 apg, 1.1 spg), G - Lourawls Nairn Jr. (2.2 ppg, 2.4 apg, 2.7 rpg), G - Denzel Valentine (14.3 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 4.4 apg), F - Branden Dawson (11.9 ppg, 9.1 rpg, 1.8 apg), F - Matt Costello (7.1 ppg, 6.3 rpg, 58 FG%)

Will win the national title if... Michigan State continues to have the magic touch. The Spartans won't be the most talented team in Indianapolis - far from it. But Izzo's team, led by savvy veterans Trice, Valentine and Dawson, has made the big shots and grabbed the big rebounds at the right times. Also, the Spartans need to continue to hit their free throws on a consistent basis - something they did not do during the regurlar season.

Will lose to Duke on Saturday if... Duke overwhelms Michigan State. Feel free to argue that the Spartans were under-seeded as a No. 7, but Michigan State was 19-10 a month ago. This is a team that plays well as a group, but from a talent standpoint, the Spartans will have trouble matching up with Duke's Big 3.
