Cody Andersen (middle) was the winner of $500 on Friday, Sept. 20, as he kicked a 40-yard field goal at halftime of the Lowry High School varsity football game with South Tahoe. Silver State Fire donated the $500 as part of a promotion the company is doing at Lowry, Elko and Spring Creek football games this fall. Each school is selling tickets during home games with the winner given the opportunity to kick the field goal.
