LOVELOCK - "Eye of the Colt," a newsletter from the Pershing County Middle School Publications class, will be inserted in the Lovelock Review-Miner beginning in this edition and continuing throughout the school year.
The class taught by middle school teacher Denise Phillips includes the production of a bi-weekly newsletter, "Eye of the Colt," posters announcing the weekly and monthly birthdays of fellow classmates and the production of the school's annual yearbook.
Each student is responsible for a section of the newsletter or a birthday poster. The class begins with each student telling the rest of the class what they are working on that day and what projects they have completed.
Students in the class include Loree Brimage, Ricky Camarena, McKenzie Burke, Ben Shirley, Alysa Dominguez, Jaskarn Singh, Lesley Gomez, Matthew Yenne, Melanie Gomez, Mariana Gonzalez and Savannah Wershila.
