Evelyn May Riggs, 77, died on Oct. 28, 2012, at her daughter's home in Burns, Ore.
Evelyn Riggs was born on Sept. 30, 1935, to Harry Mott and Mildred Neilson in ElDorado, Calif., where she went to school.
She married Jimmie M. Riggs. She worked as a nurse's aide at Humboldt General Hospital for many years. She enjoyed the bowling league she belonged to in Winnemucca. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Riggs. She is survived by her children: Emma Chambers, Elizabeth Platt, Harry Miller, Susan Miller, Anita Smith and Erica Walther.
In the spring of 2013 the family will hold a graveside service at the cemetery in Winnemucca.
