Evelyn Marie Morence, 49, passed from this earth on Sept. 30, 2014, at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nev.
Evelyn was born Sept. 3, 1965, in Lexington Park, Md., to Ivan and Doris Freeman. During her life she lived in Livermore, Calif., and Manteca, Calif., before moving to Winnemucca, Nev. While living in Livermore she met Eric Morence where they worked together over 30 ago and the two have been inseparable ever since. After moving to Winnemucca Eric and Evelyn were married on April 16, 2000.
Evelyn worked as a manager at McDonalds, an assistant manager at Winners Corner and as a waitress at Mill City TA Fork in the Road. Evelyn enjoyed painting ceramics, collecting Christmas decorations and recipes.
Evelyn is survived by her husband Eric Paul Morence, Sr., her two sons Eric Paul Morence, Jr. and Leonard I Freeman, six grandchildren: Kylie J. Freeman, Jasmine K. Freeman, Sage C. Freeman, Clarissa S. Morence, Madison N. Morence and Anna M. Morence.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ivan Delma and Doris Jean Freeman.
The family would like to express special thanks for all the care given to Evelyn by doctors and nurses of Renown Medical Center and Northern Nevada Medical Center Tahoe Pacific floor.
