WINNEMUCCA - Lowry High School's Carli Evatz was named to the Ruby Mountain League first team, which is chosen by the league's coaches at the end of the regular season.
The Lady Bucks reached the postseason for the first time in two years but saw their season come to an end with a loss to Spring Creek in the opening round of the Division I-A North regional playoffs.
The first-team, all-league squad was dotted with Elko and Spring Creek players. The Indians' Anna Dubois, Erin Nielsen, Raelynn Forcella and Marissa Elquist were selected, along with the Spartans' Madi Estes.
Elko's Camille Larsen and Spring Creek's Arrayana Edwards were chosen as the Coach of the Year and Player of the Year, respectively.
The Lady Bucks' Taylor Schwartz and Alyssa Dendary were named to the second team. Spring Creek's Serima Thompson and Shawntell Anderson and Elko's Desirae Danner and Shay Digenan were second-team choices as well.
Lowry's Kylee McClellan was picked for the honorable mention team, along with Spring Creek's Maddy Merschel, Elko's Jocelynn Harris, White Pine's Ali Huntington and West Wendover's Sadie Brunner and Heather Christiansen.
Battle Mountain High School's Abbie Mikelson and Hannah Hale were named to the Division III first team in the Ruby Mountain League.
White Pine's Bailey Moore was named the Player of the Year.
White Pine's Haidn Windous, Debra Kingston and Amanda Allred rounded out the first team.
