Emma S. Myers of Modesto Calif., passed peacefully at home surrounded by loving family at the age of 92.
Emma was a member of Grace Lutheran church, a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and avid fan of the San Francisco Giants and of PGA golf.
She was born in Escalon, Calif., and graduated from Ripon High School. She was preceded in death by her husband George T. Myers, son Willis R. Singer Jr., sister Gladys Roberts, stepdaughters Lillian Zaknich and Mary Breen.
Emma is survived by daughter Christine A. Drewrey, stepson Frank Myers, stepdaughter Dorothy Austin, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Franklin & Downs Funeral Home. A viewing will be held on Friday, Aug. 16, from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at Franklin & downs McHenry Chapel, 1050 McHenry Avenue, Modesto, Calif., 95350.
A graveside service will follow at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon at 2 p.m. There will be a memorial service on Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in Modesto, 617 W Orangeburg Ave, Modesto 95350 with a luncheon to follow.
