Elizabeth McIlnay went to be with the Lord March 28, 2012, following a brain aneurysm. She was born the sixth of seven children to Minor and Gladys Duggan on July 13, 1930,
in Hoehne, Colo., where her father was a farmer. She was married to Durbin McIlnay April
9, 1949, in Colorado Springs, Colo. They lived in Gilman, Colo., until 1987 when they
moved to Winnemucca for Durbin's employment at Gold Field's Twin Peaks mine. They retired in 1996 and chose to stay in Winnemucca.
Beth is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Virginia Wrazin, Mary Lea Dodge, Alma Cook, Lois Andrews and her brother William Duggan. She is survived by her husband Durbin McIlnay of Winnemucca; her sister, Hazel Cook of Ponchatoula, La.; children David Mcllnay and his wife, Lorna, of Grand Junction, Colo., Daniel McIlnay of Grand Junction, Colo., Ruth Rowley and her husband, David, of Denver, Colo.; grandchildren Kimberly McIlnay and her husband, Josh Buhs, of Folsom, Calif., John McIlnay and his wife Shani of Roseville, Calif., David and Kathy (Rowley) Miller of Littleton, Colo.; great grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Buhs, Landon McIlnay, Justine (Rowley) Miller.
Beth was active in the local chapter of P.E.O. and regularly attended The First Baptist Church. Her memorial service is on Saturday, April 7, 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church in Winnemucca.
