Students at ELES were challenged by their teachers and principal to read millions of words this quarter. Fourth grade students (pictured above) read 6 million words. Fifth grade students read 8.5 million words and 6th graders read a whopping 10 million words. Combined that is an amazing 24.5 million words read by the students at ELES.
