Elaine Virginia (Howard) Paxton died peacefully in her sleep Jan. 17, 2015, at the Long Term Care facility in Battle Mountain, Nev., at the age of 85.
Elaine is survived by her children, Danny Swink, of Salt Lake, Patsy and Mike James, of Helper, Pamela Swink, of Salt Lake, Teri Downard, of Battle Mountain, and Sharon Bodily, of Salt Lake. She also left behind several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Elaine was born Oct. 7, 1929, in Spring Canyon, Utah, to William and Lenore Howard. She will be dearly missed by those who loved and cared for her. The family would like to extend a great thanks to her caregivers of Battle Mountain Long Term Care for their patient and loving care during the last years of her life.
Her family is comforted knowing she is finally at peace.
Graveside services are scheduled for noon on Jan. 31, 2015, at Price Cemetery, Price, Utah.
