Elaine J. Migge passed away Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Wash.
Elaine was born Nov. 10, 1940, in Battle Mountain, Nev. She was raised and lived in Nevada for several years. She moved to Washington state with her husband and four children in 1969. Elaine attended Central Washington University, where she graduated with an accounting degree in 1982. She went to work at Yakima Community College as an accountant in the business office. She retired in 2002.
Elaine was preceded in death by her mother Elissa Pierce-Mendive, daughter Kathy Smith and grandson Tracy Bennit.
Elaine is survived by her husband Ken Migge of Yakima, Wash., son Craig Elquist and daughter-in-law Cindy Elquist of Yakima, Wash., son Kevin Elquist and daughter-in-law Diane Elquist of Battle Mountain, Nev., daughter Karen Michael and son-in-law Jeff Michael of Yakima, Wash., grandchildren, Rachle Barber with husband Jared Barber, Shanae Elquist, Celine Michael, Avery Michael, Kyle Elquist, Corey Echinek, and several great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the doctors and staff at Harborview Medical Center ICU burn unit.
