Edna Marie King

Edna King was born Oct. 11, 1951 and passed away on Dec. 30, 2013 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Edna was born in Troy, NY, and graduated from Berlin Central High School. Later in her life she moved to Battle Mountain with her family and that is where she made her home. Edna was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

Edna is survived by: her husband Jeff King; daughter Tonya McKenzie (Tom), son Brian King (Jennifer), and her sisters Judy Smith (Greg), and Jan Ehlert (Chris), and her brother Art Crandall. She is also survived by six beautiful grandkids; Tyson McKenzie, Trista McKenzie, Tara McKenzie, Abigail King, Brian King Jr., and Hayley King. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews that she loved as well. Edna always had pets, her pit bull shepherd mix dog named "Chuck"; and a cat named "Oddball" are sure to miss her as well.

Edna was preceded in death by her mother, Jane Crandall on Feb.11, 1981; and her father Amos Crandall on Jan. 5, 2002.

Edna loved sewing and was exceptionally good at it. She also collected Fenton Glass pieces as a hobby and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. More than ever she loved her children and grandchildren and spending time with them always made her happy. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

The family plans to celebrate Edna's life privately.
