Edna enjoyed rock hounding for many years then traveling around the world with her companion of many years, John Ferrante, who has preceded her.
In her later years she was an active attendee of the senior citizens center and St. Paul's Catholic Church and will be missed by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughter, Marisa Moritz, and son in law, Rick, who reside in Franktown, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, because Edna's mother succumbed to cancer in her later years.
