Eastern Oregon to hold practice at Lowry

Eastern Oregon University will be practicing Thursday at Lowry High School at 1:30 p.m. before traveling to the Bay Area for its opener against Menlo.

The practice is open to the public and fans are encouraged to come watch. Players in the Winnemucca Youth Football League are encouraged to attend as well.

Eastern Oregon has three Lowry players (Jace Billingsley, Michal Arenas and Calvin Connors) on its roster. Lovelock's Jared Jensen is also on the roster. Billingsley set a school record for receptions a season ago and was named a second-team All-American.

Eastern Oregon is a NAIA school in La Grande, Ore., and the Mountaineers finished No. 25 in the country a season ago at 6-5, winning six of their final seven games.[[In-content Ad]]
