Our beautiful fighter and hero gained his wings after battling cancer for a year and half on March 4, 2014 in Salt Lake City.
Dylan Andrew was born in Grants Pass, Ore., on Sept. 20, 2005 to William Andrew Huddleston and Tracy Ann Knight. When Dylan was 1-month-old, the family returned to Lewiston, Idaho, where he attended kindergarten at McSorley Elementary School.
Dylan and his mom and little brother Logan moved to Battle Mountain in June 2012 to join his dad and older sister Mckenzie. Dylan was a student at Eliza Pierce Elementary.
Dylan loved "Ben 10 Aliens" and "Spongebob Squarepants" cartoons, he enjoyed playing with his Legos, Skylanders and Power Rangers. He also loved to draw. He enjoyed all kinds of music and loved to dance. He was also known to be a jokester and a prankster. Dylan loved his many friends especially his BFF, Riley Schmidt.
Dylan is survived by his parents, his sister, his brother, brother-in-law Shawn Carlson, and grandparent Janice Huddleston, all of Battle Mountain; grandparent Butch Huddleston of Weippe, Idaho, Monte and Sharon Knight of Lewiston, a great-grandmother, Ruth Marvin of Spokane, Wash., and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved Bella, his Make-a-Wish English bulldog puppy.
A viewing will take place Thursday, March 13 from 1-3 p.m at Burns Funeral Home in Elko.
A memorial service will be Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at the Civic Center in Battle Mountain. A Celebration Of Life will take place at a later date in Lewiston.[[In-content Ad]]
