McDermitt High School sophomore Va Draunidalo turned in an eighth-place finish in the high jump when the Bulldogs traveled to Parma, Idaho, last Thursday for the Parma Invite.
Draunidalo cleared 4 feet, 4 inches, while the winning jump was at 4-8. Draunidalo also placed 22nd in the discus with a throw of 60-2.
On the boys side, Tanner Coble was 31st in the discus with a toss of 78-6.
McDermitt travels to Oregon on Saturday for the Burns Lions/Oster Memorial Invitational at noon.[[In-content Ad]]
