WINNEMUCCA - Pastor Jim Isaac and his wife Lola relocated to Winnemucca from Jamestown, N.D. They raised four children - three boys and one daughter.
They have pastored both large and small churches in Arizona, California, Colorado, Montana, North Dakota, Oregon, Washington and Wisconsin. Isaac also served as the former president of the Indian Bible College in Flagstaff, Ariz.
Isaac has a bachelor's degree in biblical studies, a master's degree in counseling, a doctor of ministry degree and a Ph.D in counseling.
Lola Isaac has a bachelor's degree in biblical studies and has studied music, led choirs, chorals, singing groups, as well as church music.
They will be joining Sonoma Baptist Church on Sept. 2. The church is located at 5970 Muddy Road. Services begin at 10:15 a.m.
