Donna Louise Sutherland was born Nov. 24, 1947, in Exeter, Calif., and passed away April 30, 2013, at her home in Lovelock, Nev.
Donna was taken from us very suddenly, from results confirming cancer. Although originally from California, she came to Rye Patch about 10 years ago, eventually making a home for herself here in Lovelock. Donna was the oldest of six children from a very close family.
Family was very important to her. There wasn't a day that went by they didn't hear from her at least a dozen times. She enjoyed her job and really liked the people she worked with. Her happiest times would be the family gatherings we had quite often. She also enjoyed spending her weekends in the kitchen cooking. Not just for herself either. It made her very happy to help or feel she was helping someone. Defiantly one of a kind. Very well liked and will deeply be missed. May you rest in peace. She is survived by her daughter Veronica Sutherland of Lovelock, grandsons Karl Brockoff of Lovelock, Trevor and Eric Brockoff of Texas, sisters, Judy Merritt of Rye Patch, Billy Anacleto and husband Nino of California, Marie Dickey and husband Jerry of Rye Patch, Nancy Giovannoni of Lovelock, nieces and nephews, Crystal Zimmerman and husband Trevor also children Michael Sears , Brandon Sears, Trevor Zimmerman Jr., and Hunter Zimmerman, Tommy and Poppy Anacleto of California, Steven Dickey and wife Mandi daughter Sarah of California, Ronny Dickey and wife Latisha and children Kasey, and Avery of Fernley, Travis Alves of California, Cody West of California, and Shelby Waddle of Ohio.
She was predeceased by Bill Waddle, father, Hazel Waddle, mother, Chuck Waddle, brother.
