My name is Kathi Turner. My husband Tom and I live on Morning Dove off Water Canyon Road. Last week there has been a sad emotion that has fallen over us, because of a cute little dog that looked somewhat like a Yorkie or terrier of some kind.
We do not know her owner and we do not know her name. This cute little dog was run over on Water Canyon Road on Wednesday in the late afternoon, her cute little life snuffed out by someone driving too fast.
Water Canyon is a haven for dog walkers, and even though many drive slow there are way more who drive way too fast. People walk and bike this road. Take into consideration that maybe next time it won't be a sweet little dog that is run over.
As I mentioned, we do not know the owners of this cute little dog, but know she lays at rest on our property, and hope this gives you some comfort.
